Theresa tang (CURATOR)
Theresa Tang is a passionate health leader in Canada and the curator of the Calgary Hub. She is currently building a Population Health and Community Needs portfolio for the Alberta Medical Association. This work has included leading the province’s primary care response to the opioid crisis and developing community partnerships to screen and reduce the impact on individuals living in poverty.
Her interests have brought her around the world where she has interned at the World Health Organization in Switzerland, supported evidence informed policymaking in Australia and launched three research and innovation networks across Canada. She believes that it is important for emerging leaders to pursue an understanding of unmet needs in the health system, consider the future of health, and engage in activities to foster innovative and sustainable solutions to health challenges.
Theresa is a graduate of the Health Science programs at McMaster University.
