Our shaper, Umair Pervez, has been working hard to bring the production, NEW BLOOD, to Calgary. With the help of Chirp Foods, the acclaimed production will be at Vertigo Theatre on February 28 at 7:30.

NEW BLOOD is inspired by the life of Chief Vincent Yellow Old Woman and his experience as a child in residential school, and how he reclaimed his way of life and became the Chief of his people. The play sees Strathmore High School Dance, Blackfoot and Glee Classes come together to create an amazing piece of theatre celebrating Blackfoot history and traditions featuring poetry, music, contemporary and traditional dance.

*UPDATE* Unfortunately, there have been issues with the director's schedule, and the theatre has had to delay the showing of NEW BLOOD. We will be releasing details on refunds for purchased tickets, so please stay tuned to our facebook page for more. We will update you once a new date has been scheduled!
